“Impression”
The first encounter is a fleeting moment, a collision of worlds where shapes blur and shadows form. In the instant when eyes meet or a hand is extended, what remains is not the fine details but the essence—the impression. It’s an abstract recollection, where clarity is sacrificed for the weight of feeling. The splashes of black, heavy and unyielding, represent the marks left on our memory, the initial judgments and emotions that define our perception. But within those dark stains lie fragments of light and texture, suggesting that beneath every impression lies complexity and depth, waiting to be discovered as the layers peel back with time. In that first moment, we don’t see the whole picture—only the impression, raw and powerful, that shapes what is to come.
