🌍 Join Us in Supporting "Orphelina Centre Amani"
Starting in the DRC — growing worldwide.
Connecting local care with a global community.
Orphelina Centre Amani supports vulnerable children in the Democratic Republic of Congo by providing care, education, and stability in a challenging context.
Our mission is built on dignity, transparency, and sustainable, long-term support, carried by a committed community.
What the children need
The orphanage relies on ongoing support to provide:
clothing for children of all ages
daily essentials such as food and healthcare
educational opportunities for children and young people
support for housing while working toward a permanent solution
🏠 Temporary housing
While preparations for a permanent building are ongoing, the orphanage is operating from a temporary location.
The monthly rent is approximately $300, covered through community contributions and partner support.
This temporary solution ensures continuity and safety for the children while long-term infrastructure is being developed.
👩👧 Community Guardian Support Program
The Community Guardian Support Program offers a respectful and sustainable way to support children through long-term community care.
As a Community Guardian, you contribute to a child’s well-being by supporting: education / daily care (food, healthcare, clothing) / stability and future opportunities
🌱 How the program works
Support is organised through a structured contribution, which can be monthly or yearly.
This allows both immediate assistance and the gradual build-up of a personal support reserve for each child, aimed at long-term stability and future needs.
The program is community-based and designed to create continuity, dignity, and independence — avoiding reliance on one-time donations alone.
🤝 Becoming a Community Guardian
We value personal connection and transparency.
If you are interested in becoming a Community Guardian, exploring partnership opportunities,
or setting up structured support, we invite you to contact us directly.
We prefer personal contact to explain the possibilities clearly and in line with each supporter’s wishes.
🎨 Supporting through art
Art plays an important role in this initiative.
When you purchase one of our artworks, a portion of the proceeds contributes directly to the daily functioning
and future development of Orphelina Centre Amani.
Creativity becomes a bridge between cultures and a source of meaningful, sustainable support.
📊 Transparency & trust
We are committed to transparency and accountability.
Supporters and Community Guardians receive regular updates on:
how support is allocated
the children and projects being supported
progress shared through photos, videos, and brief reports
